Milwaukee’s commitment to LED lighting continues with the introduction of the M12 LED Metal Flashlight. Targeting Maglite users, these flashlights sell at a higher price point (2355-20, $99) than non-rechargable flashlights, but the LED means you will never have to pay to replace a bulb, and the M12 means that you will never pay for another pack of D-cells again.
At 800 lumens, Milwaukee claims this is the brightest single LED flashlight on the market, and far and away the brightest among those made by power tool companies. The flashlight features a fuel gauge for the battery; one handed switch from beam to flood; high, low, and strobe settings, and an ergonomic, knurled aluminum housing. It has IP54 ingress protection so you ddon’t have to worry about using it in wet or dusty environments, and although it is sturdy, the aluminum construction makes it surprisingly light.
