NEW Milwaukee PPE

Milwaukee’s Pipeline episode 4 just wrapped up, and they showed off a new full line of equipment designed to keep you safe on the jobsite, and we’ve got the price and launch date for each one. Let’s go!

Guys I’m gonna try to make this one quick. There’s not a lot of detail available on these pieces just yet, so I’m gonna focus on the price and availability. For full details, we’ll share everything we have on our website.

First up, Hard Hats. The Milwaukee® Tool Hard Hat Lineup will now include a Hard Hat with 6pt Ratcheting Suspension. This hard hat, like the existing 4pt hard hat is compatible with the BOLT Accessory System and has 6 accessory slots. They will come in 8 colors: white, gray, black, red, orange, yellow, green and blue. They’re available now, but we don’t yet have pricing.

Hard Hat Lanyards are coming, so you can secure your hard hat either with a clip or a loop. They’re available now for $6 and $10.

In June of next year you’ll be able to purchase the new Milwaukee Helmets, which provide even more protection, while still working with the BOLT accessories, but no pricing yet.

New Colored and Magnified Safety Glasses will feature anti-scratch, fog-free, and new magnification and lens color options. They’ll be available early 2021 with no pricing yet.

Also in early 2021, you’ll be able to get Milwaukee’s new Retractable Lanyards, engineered for lasting durability, and a cool 50” working range you can lock at any position. The new Retractable Lanyards will be $45

Many of us already protect our hearing with Milwaukee earplugs, but in early 2021, you’ll be able to get a new set focused on all-day comfort with a flexible band keeping them together. The Band can be reconfigured to go behind your neck, below your chin or above your head. The specially designed plugs are able to be taken out and put back in quickly, helping you get back to work. The new Banded Ear Plugs will be here early next year for $12.

Milwaukee is also bringing us new Face Masks, which features an anti-microbial treatment and moisture-wicking internal layer which helps the masks to dry quickly and keep cool. These reusable and machine washable masks will meet the CDC recommendations for face coverings and will be available Early 2021 for a yet to be revealed price.

But what about my knees? Asked the guy with the sore knees. Milwaukee announced not 1, not 2, not 12, but 5 different knee pad solutions including the Free-Flex, Hard Cap Gel, Performance, Non-Marring Performance, and Stabilizer Performance versions. For a detailed explanation of the differences, be sure to check out our article. None of these has pricing yet, but all should be available in Early 2021.

Not to be out done by knee pads, the High visibility Safety vests showed up in 5 different versions as well. Including Class 3 for $23, Class 2 Mesh for $18, Class 3 Mesh for $21, Class 2 Breakaway Mesh for $20, and Class 2 Surveyors, which is a far more serious piece of kit, for $70. Again, we’ll share the details on each one of these in our article. All 5 will be available in early 2021.
