New M18 FUEL Sawzall and New Blades

Milwaukee PIPELINE Episode 3 just landed tonight, and so did the updated M18 FUEL Sawzall, and some new blades to put it to work. Let’s get to it.

This is the all new M18 FUEL Sawzall, the next generation of one of Milwaukee’s hallmark tools. It’s been 70 years since Milwaukee gave us their first Sawzall, and yet today they’ve found a whole slew of ways to make it batter.

First up, they claim this is the Most Durable Sawzall yet. The new saw was built from the ground-up with key durability improvements to make it last longer in even the toughest jobsite conditions.

First off, they’ve made durability improvements to their POWERSTATE Brushless motor, and redesigned their REDLINK PLUS Intelligence Electronics specifically for this tool. The Slide crank mechanism has been a key component of the SAWZALL for decades, but this  new saw features a mechanism built with improvements to it’s dust and water ingress and overall durability as well. They also added an anti-corrosion blade clamp, an upgraded blade change lever that’s more wear-resistant, and a metal reinforced battery connection, all of which leads to longer life of the tool.

And all of this can also be had with their popular ONE-KEY system for tool tracking and more detailed feature control.

So one of the toughest tools in the industry just got tougher, but what good is that if you don’t have the right blade? Fortunately for us Milwaukee recently added The Wrecker, and the TORCH Nitrus Carbide Sawzall blades to their lineup, more of which you can learn about in our recent Milwaukee Recip Blade Showcase which we’ll link above.

The New M18 FUEL SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw will be available next month for $199 as a bare tool, or $319 or $419 with various battery packs.
