Bosch has added another new line laser, the GLL2-40 ($149, Ohio Power Tool) which joins the ranks with their 4 other popular line lasers. The GLL3-80 ($499, Ohio Power Tool) has really become the crown jewel of interior layouts with its 6 cross points there is alway a reference point close by but it can be a little pricy for the occasional user.
The new GLL2-40 is certainly the more cost effective but still a very high quality accurate unit for interior work. It is compact enough to be worn in the provided belt pouch and features several mounting options including 5/8-11, ¼-20 and magnets on front and bottom. The laser can also be adjusted on the mount so it is very simple to get into almost any position.

The Smart Pendulum Leveling System locks the pendulum when the GLL2-40 is switched off, allowing for protection during transport to ensure precision accuracy for every use.
