The biggest thing to happen to Air Impact Wrenches over the past few years has been the stubby! We’ve seen the top air tool lines from IR, CP and other launch these compact tools with big success but nothing in a cordless versions, Until Now! Welcome the M12 FUEL Stubby Impact Wrenches in 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2″ versions. Super compact size at 5.1” with impressive torque at 250 ft-lbs, these are going to lead to even less air hoses on the shop floor.
At the Milwaukee Big Launch Event NPS18 a few months back we got our first look at these and it made a ton of sense, where the M18 serves the need for mid & high torque needs, the M12 platform is perfect for super compact stubby impacts. We love that Milwaukee doesn’t just look at the M12 line up for cheaper home owner type tools (while there is some of that), they really are building out the line for professionals and applications where compact design and light weight is key. Looking at the M12 FUEL Ratchets, M12 Rivet Gun, M12 Bandsaw, and many more they are really setting the bar for what to expect from these smaller tools.
