Well Milwaukee is wasting ZERO time kicking off 2021 with a new tool announcement, and they’re giving us a tool with speeds we’ve never seen before. This is the Milwaukee M12 FUEL High Speed Ratchets. Let’s go!
It’s small, light, but most of all it’s FAST. These are the Milwaukee M12 FUEL ¼” and ⅜” High speed ratchets, and they deliver a best in class 450 RPM. The fastest speed in the industry for installing and removing fasteners. To give you a point of reference, the current M12 FUEL ¼” ratchet tops out at only 250 RPM. That’s a staggering 80% jump my friends.
That power is delivered through a variable speed paddle switch, that makes it easy to ratchet up the speed whenever you want it. See what I did there? You can also use both of these new ratchets manually without engaging the motor, letting you break loose or snug tight fasteners that require even more torque, without doing any damage to the motor.
And the small format, ultra compact head size, and recessed shift knob, these are designed to get into the tightest of spaces, and the LED light makes sure you can see. And of course it wouldn’t be a Milwaukee if it wasn’t heavy duty. A steel yoke housing and premium rubber overmold means it’s equipped to handle whatever the shop or jobsite throw at it.
This ratchet has become a legitimate replacement for a pneumatic ratchet, allowing you to leave the hose on the wall. And of course with the FUEL in it’s name, you know it has a POWERSTATE brushless motor, REDLITHIUM batteries and REDLINK PLUS handling coms between the two. So when can you get one and how much will it cost? Milwaukee says it will be available next month in February 2021, for $179 as a bare tool, or $259 with 2 CP2ah batteries, charger and case.
