BREAKING! Milwaukee launches 2 NEW TOOLS! The 2021 PIPELINE has started? Let’s GO!

Milwaukee is continuing their virtual PIPELINE 2021, by announcing two more tools that we’d normally expect to see revealed at an NPS event. Does this mean there will be no PIPELINE 2021? Let’s Go!

THIS is the all-new Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1 ⅛” SDS Plus Rotary Hammer with ONE-KEY. This new beast replaces the 2715 model, boasting a big bump in power, and a new safety feature that makes this a solid Gen 2 tool.

Of course, because of the FUEL designation, you already know by now that it features their POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, hooked up to their REDLINK PLUS Intelligence, that lets the motor talk to the REDLITHIUM High Output Battery Pack.

But this time around, the numbers actually drop in the Gen 2, from 1,350 to only 800 RPM, and BPM drops from 5,000 to 4,600. So how is this drill the fastest in it’s class? It hits harder. The Impact energy jumps from 3.3 to 3.6 ft lbs, making it drill 20% faster overall.

But power to get the job done doesn’t mean the job is safe. But Milwaukee has you covered there as well. The new 2915 includes their new AUTOSTOP Kickback Control to prevent over-rotation when the tool binds up on rebar, and their Anti-Vibration System or AVS if you’re in a hurry, minimizes vibration making this far more comfortable to use.

Of course, when you’re powering through concrete, you need to worry about silica dust as well. Once again, Big Red has you covered. Alongside the 2915, they’ve just announced the 2nd Gen M18 FUEL HAMMERVAC Dedicated Dust Extractor, which has a built-in AUTOPULSE filter cleaning system, which yes, delivers OSHA Table 1 Compliance, all in a portable package. Other features include a switchable depth stop and a clever translucent dust box that can be emptied with a vacuum, instead of dumping the box into the trash, launching all that dust back into the air. Those who work for a living, know how huge that is.

The new Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1 ⅛” SDS PLUS Rotary Hammer with ONE-KEY will be available this winter as a bare tool for $449, in a kit with a High Output XC6.0 battery and charger for $699, and finally a kit with the new HAMMERVAC for $799, which you should definitely choose if you don’t have a decent vac system already.

So there you go, another Generation advancement in the Milwaukee Lineup, announced by email. I’m pretty sure at this point, this is the new normal for Milwaukee.
