BREAKING! 4 New Power Tools Announced Today!

RYOBI has announced 4 new tools this week including a new impact wrench, and updated router and even a new bluetooth radio. Let’s go.

First up, the all new 18V ONE+ 10oz Caulk Gun, which applies adhesives and sealants with up to 500 lbs of push force. It has an on board puncture tool for quick setup, anti-drip technology and a removable carriage for easy cleanup. And the mileage you’ll get out of a single 2ah battery is an impressive 200 10oz tubes. The variable speed dial lets you adjust the discharge rate to control beads of caulk with ease. There’s also a switch lock that prevents accidental start-up. It also has a rotating collar for ultimate versatility in tight spaces. The Ryobi 18V ONE+ 10oz Caulk Gun will be available in October for only $79.

Ryobi also announced a new 18V ONE+ Compact Bluetooth Radio, the PCL600, which claims to have 4 times better sound clarity than the Ryobi P742, and while I have no idea what that means, it sounds super impressive. It has a powerful 3” 15W speaker, and has advanced electronics and an optimized acoustic design to deliver best-in-class performance. I’m guessing that’s a class of Jobsite radios, and not sony or bose, but I’m still anxious to hear it. It can play your tunes or podcasts for 32 hours on a 4ah battery and stay connected to your device up to 175’ away. It also features a USB A charging port for your devices. The new Ryobi 18V ONE+ compact bluetooth radio will be available in October for only $59.97.

Next, we have the new 18V ONE+ Gen 2 Compact Router which now operates between 20,000 and 30,000 rpm, yet 20% more compact than their previous generation P601. It also features improved ergonomics for more comfort and control during extended use. It has a variable speed dial, micro-depth adjustment dial, a handy LED light, and thats about it. It doesn’t seem like a huge update, but the old P601 was a fantastic trim router, so I expect this to be even better. You can pick one up in October for only $99.

Last of all we have the latest addition to the value-pro HP series. This is the 18V ONE+ HP Compact Brushless 4 Mode ½” Impact Wrench. Rated at 275 ft lbs of breakaway torque, but we’ll have to wait to ask TTC how accurate it is. It’ll hit up to 3,800 IPM and 2,800 RPM. The onboard speed control has 4 modes including high, medium, low, and a unique auto mode, that prevents overtightening and controlled removal. It has a ½” anvil with friction ring. Tri-beam led, and a die-cast gear case. The biggest improvement may be in it’s size. It’s only 5.4” long, and now 26% more compact and 35% lighter weight than the Ryobi P262 it’s replacing. They say this is one of the lightest and smallest Ryobi power tools they’ve ever made. And just like the others, it’ll be out in October, for only $139.

Ryobi just seems to announce new tools every 20 minutes this year. But are they announcing the tools you’re looking for? Have they convinced you to switch yet? Let me know in the comments.

That’s it for now. Don’t forget to join us this and every Friday for our Power Tool Week In Review. I’ll see ya then.
