The Ridge Tool Company was founded in North Ridgeville, Ohio in the early 1920’s. In 1943 the company relocated to Elyria, Ohio. Over the next several decades Ridgid partnered with Emerson Electric, acquired Urick Foundry and pushed through for some of the best innovations in the industry.
