Bosch Announces a Women’s Fit Heated Jacket PBJ120

Women Heated Jacket

Last year the Bosch heated jacket hit the shelves with probably the most stylish of all heated jackets we’ve seen. The fit is more European which may not appeal to some power tool user or tall guys like myself who need a longer fitting arm and torso. Bosch is hoping the sleeker style with find some additional appeal with women, so for this season they are launching a new cut of the Women’s PSJ120 obviously tailored specifically for women. Priced the same as the Men’s PSJ120 ($199) but only available in 4 sizes, S-XL vs Men’s which goes all the way to 3XL.

Mt. Prospect, Ill., – Women on the job can now stay warm and comfortable even in the coldest conditions thanks to the new Bosch PSJ120 Women’s Heated Jacket, the first extension of the Bosch heated jacket collection. The women’s heated jacket offers tailored-fit features and is powered by a Bosch 12V Max lithium-ion battery connected to the BHB120 battery holster. It not only powers the jacket, but keeps USB-compatible cell phones and other important electronics charged and ready to go, as well.

Like its predecessor, the women’s heated jacket features three quick warming core heat zones – two chest and one back – that start warming in a matter of minutes and provide up to six hours of heated runtime on low heat level with a 2.0 Ah 12V Max battery.

“Last year’s heated jacket was such a success, and we had the demand to expand the line-up to accommodate all professionals,” said Jim Bohn, Bosch director. “As a result we are pleased to offer a jacket tailored for female professionals with the same high-quality look and design for cold job site environments.”

STYLE AND FUNCTIONALITY

But this PSJ120 isn’t just for the jobsite. It’s also ideal for recreational use such as camping and hiking, tailgating and other outdoor activities. The jacket’s shell and inner lining is made of a water- and wind-resistant polyester. Its design is contoured for a woman’s shape and holds the heat closer to the body. A full-zip, high-collar design and adjustable sleeves and waistband shield users from cool fall and winter winds, while reflective features increase visibility day and night. Five large, convenient pockets stow on-the-go materials and keep hands warm. Pockets include one BHB120 storage pocket, two hand pockets, one cell phone chest pocket and one large inner document pocket.

MULTI-PURPOSE BATTERY POWER

The BHB120 battery holster delivers 12V Max power to the heated jacket and provides battery backup to cell phones, MP3 players and most other USB-charged personal electronics (5VDC/1A max output). The unit stores within the inner jacket pocket, while an all-metal belt clip enables use without the jacket as a convenient and easy battery backup. It features a durable outer housing and a compact design that’s discreet within the jacket pocket.

The new women’s heated jacket kits will include the PSJ120 heated jacket, BHB120 battery holster/backup, BAT414 2.0 Ah lithium-ion battery and charger for a suggested retail price of $199 USD ($229 CAD). And new for the 2014/2015 season, the men’s jackets will also include the same battery and charger standard within each kit and retail for $199 USD ($229 CAD). Also available for those expanding their 12V offering is the SKC120-102 starter kit, including a BAT414 battery and charger for $49 USD ($79 CAD). Available for purchase separately, the BHB120 retails for a suggested price of $39 USD ($59 CAD).
